Maborn Alfred Baker, 82 of Rt. 4, Pocahontas, passed away in Randolph County Medical Center, Friday. He was born Dec. 11, 1904 in Randolph County, a son of the late Jess and Sophia Cook Baker. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Barnett Baker of the home; a son, Harold Lee Baker of Drayton Plains, Mich.; a brother, Hite Baker of Doniphan, Mo. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Vandergriff officiating. Burial followed in Crawford Cemetery with McNabb's in charge. Pallbearers were Jack French, Franklin Hall, Dudley Wells, T.C. Davis, Willard Baker and Jeff Towell.
