WEST FORK — Sylvia Pauline McAdoo, 90, of West Fork died Friday, April 10, 2009, at Westwood Health & Rehab in Springdale. She was born March 19, 1919, in Heavener, Okla., the daughter of James Henry Sr. and Lillie Sherrell Coker.
She was a homemaker and a member of West Fork First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Artis McAdoo; two sons, Sonny "Jake" McAdoo and Duane McAdoo; and a daughter, Jeanie Boyd.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Downum and husband Harold of Springdale; a daughter-in-law, Deane McAdoo of West Fork; two brothers, Joe Coker of West Fork and Kenneth Coker of Oklahoma City; one sister, Janis Ackley of West Fork; six grandchildren, Rena Acree and husband Mike of West Fork, Vicki Bradley and husband Mike of Fayetteville, Kristi Daniels and husband Chad of Elm Springs, James D. McAdoo of West Fork, Kim Finn and husband Mike of Frisco, Texas, and Duane Boyd and wife Cassi of West Fork; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
Burial will be in Zinnamon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
