Ruth E. Adams, age 69 of Hwy 191, West Liberty, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in the Life Care Center, Morehead, KY after a brief illness. She was born September 28,1939 in Morgan Co., KY daughter of the late John Kash Lykins and Greathel Morris Lykins.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ray Lykins and Talmadge Craft, and a sister Lena Stacy.

She was a member of the Broadway First Church of God,West Liberty, KY and was a retired office manager at the Woodsbend Boys Camp.

Surviving is her husband, Darrell Adams, West Liberty, KY; her mother-in-law, Eunice Adams, West Liberty, KY; one sister, Imogene Edwards, Jamestown, OH; one brother, Mitchell Craft, West Liberty, KY; brother & sister-in-law, Lexie & Alice Sue Adams, West Liberty, KY & a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. April 17, 2009 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Jessie Rogers officiating.

Burial in the Morris, Caney,Ky.

Visitation 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
