Charles Allen Wyatt, 88, of Centralia died Monday, Sept. 1, 1997, at his home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia with minister Glen Mitchell and the Rev. Michael Curtice officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the funeral home.

Mr. Wyatt was born Oct. 28, 1908, near Harrisburg to Robert and Pamelia Ann Hammonds Wyatt.

He married Bessie Mae Meeks on Oct. 13, 1928, in Columbia, and she preceded him in death.

He was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Centralia. He had been a 27-year employee of Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co. in Centralia.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy Carol Harper of Columbia and Edith Jewell Carey and Merylin Sue Floyd, both of Hutchinson, Kan.; two sons, Charles ``Bud'' Wyatt Jr. of Centralia and Garland Dale Wyatt of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Arthur Wyatt of Centralia; 11 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.
Memorials are suggested to the Parkview Christian Church in Centralia.
