She was the daughter of Thomas and Rebecca Elizabeth (Towne) McBride and married William Howard Naylor. Her obituary follows:

Mrs. Naylor Funeral Set --

Mrs. Florence McBride Naylor died at noon Tuesday at Panola General Hospital at the age of 95.

Final rites will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mike Macey officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Tyler.

A native of Rubens County, Kansas, Mrs. Naylor came to Panola County in 1915 a\where she and her husband, W. H. Naylor, operated a general merchandise store more than 30 years. They moved to Tyler for a while and then returned to Carthage. She was a leader in social and religious life half a century ago and was a generous patron of the Episcopal Church here.

Surviving are two children, a son, William Howard Naylor, Jr., Carthage, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Dana, New York City; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

NOTE: Her obituary states she was 95 years old at death, but all other information supports the age of 91 at death. Also, her obituary states she was a native of Rubins Co., Kansas. I do not believe there is such county...I think Rubens in a community in Jewell Co., Kansas. Census records substantiates that she was in Jewell Co., Kansas at a young age.
