Obit from unknown newspaper circa 1900-1907: "Sad Death of A Little Child - The Little Son of Mrs. Whitney Died Last Night" (NOTE: Last name is actually Whitley, not Whitney) "James Lewis Whitney, the nineteen months and eleven days old son of Mrs. Henrietta Whitney, died at the home of his mother at 8:15 o'clock last night after an illness of seven days from indigestion. The death of her little son is a sad loss to the bereaved mother, who has the sympathy of her friends and neighbors in her sorrow. The funeral takes place from the house at 4:50 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. J.T. Farr, and the interment being in Girard Cemetery."
