When she was younger, she loved to camp and fish. She also like to do needlepoint.
A member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, she was in the Humble Hearts Sunday School Class.
Her husband, Ben, is a butcher at White Stores. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. David (Emme E.) Loveday of Sevierville; three sons, Benny D. Christopher of Oak Ridge, Joe M Christopher of Red Bank and Truman Christopher of Chattanooga; and three sisters, Pauline Newman and Ida Shoemaker of Sevierville and Velma Anderson of Texas.
Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge with the Rev. David Webster and the Rev. Don Long officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm at Weatherford Mortuary.
