Obituary for Charles F. Boardman, The Newton Press:
MOWEAQUA - Charles F. Boardman, 81, of Moweaqua died 2:45 am Thu, 12 Jan 1989, in his home.
Services will be 11 am Sat in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with visitation 5-8 pm Fri. Burial will be in Adams-Gorden Cem., Moweaqua. Memorials: Old Stonington Baptist Church or American Heart Association.
Mr. Boardman was born in Olney, s/o Steven and Bertha Boardman. He was a time-study engineer at Caterpillar Inc. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and member of Old Stonington Baptist Church. He married Hester Bilyeu in 1932.
Surviving are his wife; daughters Mrs. Donald (Amber) Sandberg and Mrs. Charles (Marita) Ermisch, both of Milwaukee; sister, Mrs. Ray (Amber) Hazel of Peoria; stepsister, Ola Parrott of Olney; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
One brother and one half brother preceded him in death.
