Mrs. J.R. Ball
Mrs. Louisa Delia Ball, 76, of Greenbrier, died Friday, Aug. 10, 1979 at Conway Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James Roy Ball. Mrs. Ball was a housewife and a member of Central Baptist Church of Conway. Born July 1, 1903, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Theodosia Alabama Tilley Elliott. She and her husband had been married 55 years and had lived in Greenbrier 14 years. Other survivors are two sons, Derwin R. Ball of Leavenworth, KS, and Doyne E. Ball of Knoxville, TN; a brother, Jim Elliott of Jacksonville; three sisters: Mrs. Susie E. Smallwood of Fort Smith, Mrs. Ruth Howard of Pasadena, CA and Mrs. Ruey Dardenne of Wabbaseka (Jefferson County); five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Monday, in McNutt Chapel with teh Rev. Jack Bloxom officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home. Pallbearers are James S. Dombek, Richard McClung, Cliff Munroe, Sam Speaks, Kirk Williams and Marvin Cantrell.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
