Walter H.W. Swisher, Jr., 20, a resident of Fredonia, and formerly of Meadville, Pennsylvania, died Monday, September 26, 2005, as the result of a drowning accident near Fredonia. He was born March 25, 1985 in Neodesha, Kansas, the son of Walter H.W. and Sandra (Auck) Swisher, Sr. He was employed by Cobalt Boat Company in Neodesha.
He was a member of the Meadville Missionary Alliance and participated in football, wrestling and baseball in high school. He enjoyed fishing.

His survivors include:

Two sisters: Yavette Swisher Ft. Lewis, WA Melinda Swisher-Terwilliger Meadville, PA

One brother: Thomas Swisher Cochranton, PA

Three nephews: Dakota Bish Meadville, PA William Terwilliger Meadville, PA Adian Swisher Ft. Lewis, WA

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2005, at the Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Max Dawson of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Longton Cemetery, Longton, Kansas. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 2:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. and on Monday, 9:00 A.M.-10:30 A.M.
