Obadiah is the son of Joseph of Hampton. He married Eleanor on March 18, 1741.

The cemetery at Taunton Hill was first used November 23, 1782. The land was given for a cemetery by Obadiah Worth, who was the first person buried there.

Obediah's children are not all listed. I have a copy of a document dated in 1760 that lists:
•Timothy Worth who was born January 3, 1742 in Hampton Falls, N.H.
•Lydia Worth who was born July 23, 1744 in Kingston, N.H.
•Elenor Worth who was born July 14, 1749 in Kingston, N.H.
•Anna Worth who was born September 8, 1755 in Kingston, N.H.
