Elizabeth Lenora was the daughter of Hugh Herron and Nancy Partlow Simril. She was the sister of Mary Frances Simril Glenn, wife of David Johnston Glenn Sr. She married Robert Henry Glenn, son of William and Elizabeth Boyd Glenn, Dec 17, 1857. Their children were Thomas Hugh Simril, Nancy Eliza, Mary Robert, William Darby, Lula Jane, James Franklin, Henry Clarence, Frederick Johnston, Margaret Louise and Mattie.
