Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 AM, April 3, 2009 at White Plains Baptist Church with Pastor William Souther and Dr. Monroe Huffman officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mrs. McCann was born February 23, 1928 in Wilkes County to Roy McKinney and Nancy Belva Richardson Alexander. She was a homemaker and worked for Chatham Manufacturing Company for 24 years. Mrs. McCann was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband, Lonnie Blaine McCann of the home; two daughters, Brenda Jolly and husband, Keith of Wilkesboro, Doris Parker and husband, Mark of Jonesville; three brothers, Reece Alexander, Ted Alexander both of Winston-Salem, Bobby Alexander of Clemmons; three grandchildren, Kayla Rose, Isaac Rose and Chad Jolly.
