Mr. Holman had been active and well-to-do farmer all his life., but was forced to curtail his activities about seven years ago because of failing health. He was the son of William Chesley & Dicy Ann Taylor Holman.
He is survived by his widow, Ola and eight children, Mrs. Amy Johnston , of Whittington, Mrs. Nova Rice of Kankakee, Mrs Daisy Holland of Mt Vernon, Mrs. Mary Bevis of Herrin, Harold of Seattle, Edgar of Ewing, Herbert of Whittington and Stanley of Mt. Vernon.
The body was laid to rest in the Williams Chapel Cemetery (aks Elder S. M. Williams Cemetery at Ewing).
