Born in Lafayette County, Miss., in April, 1890, Mr. Kelley came to Louisiana in early manhood and married Miss Lola Bertie Noah. For the past 26 years he has been employed as painter to the Tremont & gulf Railway Company. He was a member of the local Masonic organization and the Macabees. He became ill about a year ago and spent some time in a Shreveport sanitarium until several weeks ago when he returned to his home here.
Surviving Mr. Kelly [sic Kelley] are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. J. R. (Beatrice) Harrison, and six sons, Theodore, Buford, Howard, Herman, Bobby and Robert. He also leaves one brother, Elmer Kelley, and one sister, Miss Lonnie Kelley of Winnfield; and one half sister, Mrs. Ada Fuller of Eros.
