Eliza Jane (McMinn) Fuller was born the fifth of seven children to Joseph and Elizabeth (Livick) McMinn in Virginia. The family migrated to Harrison County, Missouri in the 1850s. Eliza married William Lewis Fuller in Harrison County on 25th of November 1859. In 1864 Eliza and William headed west and settled in Idaho. They had nine children: The first child (Anna Belle) was born in Harrison County Missouri, the second child (James Madison)was born at Fort Kearney, Nebraska. The remaining seven children were born in Idaho. They were Francis Gwinette, William Sylvster, Martha Jane, Charles Augustus, George Washington, Lorivilla, and Lillie.
