Mrs. Eleanor Marie Peitz, 64, 415 Harvard, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 29 1985 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Born Dec. 2, 1920 in Schoenchen, she married Jerome L. Peitz on Sept. 23, 1941 at Garden City.
A member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Altar Society, she moved to Liberal in 1959 from Garden City. She worked in the St. Anthony Catholic School cafeteria.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Ernest Peitz, Liberal; Steve Peitz, Kismet; six daughter, Mary Ann Peitz, Liberal; Mrs. James (Geraldine) Norton, Moore, Okla.; Mrs. Sam (Cathy) Morlan, Liberal; Mrs. Galer (Janet) Ledford, Pampa, Texas; Mrs. Philip (Patricia) Reifshneider, Liberal; Mrs. Harlin (Anita) Mitchell, Liberal: three brohers, Art Phannenstiel [sic], Bavaria; Cyril Pfannenstil, Wichita; and Eugene Pfannenstiel, Salina; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Barnes, Kansas City; Mrs. Mildred Orsbon, Wichita; and 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son Lerory, his wife and son Chris.
Rosary will be at 8:15 p.m. Thursday from the Miller Chapel by Father Robert Schremmer. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday from the St. Anthony Catholic Church by Father Robert Schremmer and Father Thomas Wagner. Burial will be in the Liberal Cemetery.
