Fern D. Oskar, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4.
She was born in Pennsylvania, a daughter of Henry A. and Julia Smead George, and lived most of her life in Akron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1965, and 15 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Arlene Oskar of Akron; daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and Lloyd Kenney of Stow; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Harold Harris and his wife, Jane, of Cuyahoga Falls.
