ALBERT CHARLES STARK

Albert Charles Stark, 78, Sugar Creek, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, TX. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 17, at Fairmount Christian Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence, Mo. Visitation 3:30- 5 p.m. Sunday, at the George C. Carson and Sons Independence Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairmount Christian Church, 641 S. Ash, Independence, MO 64053.

Mr. Stark was born March 5, 1923 in Sugar Creek, MO. He was a WWII Army veteran having severed in the Philippines with the 6th Signal Corps and a Bronze Star Recipient. He was a lifetime member of VFW. He retired in 1978 after 36 years of employment with Standard Oil. A long time active member of Fairmount Christian Church, where he served as an Elder. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and had served as past president of the local chapter. Mr. Stark is survived by his wife of 55 years, of the home, a son and daughter in law, daughters and sons-in-law, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. (Arrangements; George C.
