This Certifies that the Records of The First Christian Reformed Church of Munster, Indiana show that Mrs. Cornelius De Porto nee Catherina Agnes Jongsma, child of Mr. Pieter Jongsma and his wife Mrs. Pieter Jongsma nee Metja Verbeek, born at Netherlands on the 16th day of July, 1905 Received Christian Baptism on December 22, 1912. Administered by Rev. J. H. Mohma (pastor of the above Church at that time).

On 5 July 1910 Kaatje Jongsma (5 y, born in Idskenhuizen, Holland), her father Peter Jongsma (29, Sloten, mason), her mother Maatje (27, Lemmer), her sister Maatje (3, birthplace unreadable) and her brother Peter (0, birthplace unreadable: L.....) arrived on the SS Potsdam at the port of New York, Ellis Island. Their last residence place in the Netherlands was Idskenhuizen [Friesland, Netherlands] and they were heading for Kaatje's grandfather [Peter] Jongsma, who was residing already in Hammond, Lake County, in the upper northwestern part of Indiana.
In 1920 Cathern Jongsma (14 y, born in Holland, immigrated in 1910), her father Peter Jongsma (38, Holland) her mother Maggie (37, Holland), her siblings Margaret (12, Holland), Peter (10, Holland), Fannie (8, Indiana), Clarence (6, Indiana) and her grandfather Peter Jongsma (66, Holland, immigrated in 1907) lived in North Township, Lake County, in the upper northwestern part of Indiana.
In April 1940 Katherine (34 y, born in Holland), her husband Cornelius Deporto (40, Holland, millright [bankworker, machinist or mechanic]) and their daughter Pearl (17, Indiana) lived and owned their own home, worth $1500, in Munster, North Township, Lake County, Indiana. They lived in 1935 at the same house.
Catherine died in February 1983 at the age of 77 years in Lansing a southern suburb of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Her widower Cornelius Deporto died in August 1985 at the age of almost 86 years in Lansing too.
