OBITUARY :
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mary C. North Methodist Church at Burdett for MRS. NORA ELLEN SHOCKEY, 78. She died Saturday evening at the St. Joseph Hospital in Larned.

Revs. George D. Andrews and George F. Laeger will officiate. Burial will be in Browns Grove Cemetery, Burdett.

She was born Aug. 8, 1883, at Ridott, Ill. She came to Kansas in 1919 and settled on a farm north of Burdett. She had been keeping house for a son, Edward, near Larned.

Other than the son she is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Elmer Steffen and Mrs. Frank Brownlee, both of Burdett; a brother, Clarence Daughenbaugh, Parker, Colo.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
