The Seattle Times, March 6, 1961:

Mrs. Rosa Parker Chamberlain, 80, died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank A. Winandy, 4520 Seventh Ave N.E., with whom she lived.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday in the Langevin Funeral Home, Yakima. Burial will be in Yakima.

A native of Brown County, Kas., Mrs. Chamberlain went to Yakima in 1889. From 1910 to 1929 she lived in Prosser, Benton County. She came here from Yakima in 1940.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a member of the University Christian Church. She was the widow of Ervin L. Chamberlain.

Survivors besides Mrs. Winandy are another daughter, Mrs. Claude Munsil, Yakima; a son, Lloyd Chamberlain, Glendale, Ariz.; two brothers, Albert R. Parker, Yakima, and Edward P. Parker, Boise, Idaho, and a granddaughter.
