After the death of her father in 1940, she went to Edward’s IL, where she found work. In 1956, she went to Gregory, SD, where she worked at the Gregory Hospital until she was unable to work any longer.
She then went to a Rest Home to stay, but worked part time in Burke, SD, and then at Bassett, NE. Finally, on February 27, 1974, she entered the nursing home in Bassett, where she gradually became senile.
