Rosa Blattel, was born in Scott County, Missouri on Febuary,17, 1891 the only daughter of six children born to George and Mary (Diebold) Blattel.
She attended school in New Hamburg, Missouri.
Rosa's family moved to Laclede County, Missouri about 1909 and the family made their home in the Prosperine area.
Rosa never married, and after the passing of her parents, she help to provide loving care for her nieces and nephews.
She was an excellent cook and baker, and loved cooking for her family.
She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
