George DeVault Rites Wednesday
Funeral services for George Anderson DeVault, 86, will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Howard H Wilson funeral chapel with Rev Frank Coen, of Lancaster chapel, Upland, officiating. Interment will be in Farmington cemetery.
Deceased passed away in the home of Mr and Mrs Raymond Rothacher in Farmington Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock after an illness of one year. He was born in Barton, December 26, 1856, a son of John and Isabel Hughes DeVault, and married Miss Sarah Bowman in St Clairsville in 1933*. He was employed as a day man for the Y & O at Barton until his retirement and was affiliated with St Clairsville lodge, Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs Walter Jackson, Blaine, Mrs Albert Kidd, Fairpoint; one sister, Mrs Elsie Graham, Cadiz, Bridgeport; one brother, Isaac DeVault, Maynard, and one grandson.
