Funeral for Travis Lipscomb was held Monday, January 18, 1 p.m., at Corinth Baptist Church with the Revs. Marcus Lipscomb and Royce Teague officiating.
Burial was in the Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Lipscomb died Saturday, January 16, 1999, at National Healthcare Center in Moulton.
He was born in Lawrence County to Nataniel and Julia Lipscomb. Mr. Lipscomb was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Horton Lipscomb. Mr. Lipscomb also worked with the U.S. Forestry Service for 20 years.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Lipscomb of Moulton, and Farrell Lipscomb of Trinity; five daughters, Hazel Lipscomb Norton of Moulton, Mabel Lipscomb Naylor of Austell, Ga., Nadine Lipscomb Cole of Danville, Evelene Lipscomb Teague of Priceville, and Helen Lipscomb Terry of Courtland; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
