Services for Robert E. (Bob) Haight, 61, of Rapid City, formerly of Florence, Watertown, & Clark, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Sept 9, 1981, at Behrens Mortuary in Rapid City.
Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery.
Officiating was Rev. Robert McBride. Organists: Warren Wagner & Elizabeth McBride. Soloist was Barbra Hocking. Casketbearers were: Charles Parker, Charles McLain, Robert Witt, Ray Opitz, Ray Davidson, & Herbert Munderloh.
Haight died Saturday at Hillview Nursing Home in Rapid City following a lengthy illness.
He was born June 29, 1920, at Castlewood, SD, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Earl Haight.
He married Mavis Daily April 13, 1941, at Watertown. The couple moved to Rapid City in 1956.
Haight is survived by his wife, Mavis of Rapid City; 1 son, Royal of Rapid City; 3 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Maria) Krick, Mrs. Donnie (Hazel) Davis & Mrs. Delbert (Sally) Stover of Rapid City: 8 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Delbert of Rapid City, Merrill of Carson, CA, & Dale, Wilbur & Floyd of Norwalk, CA, & 2 sisters, Mrs. Albert (Shirley) Weber of Strandburg, & Mrs. Merle (Stella) Lausen of Kalispell, Mont.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Marshall, 1 grandchild, & his parents.
