Mrs. Emma M. Soden, 87, of 2019 S. Olive St., Santa Ana, died Thursday in the Welsh Rest Home following a brief illness. Born in Iowa, she was the daughter of Neil and Anna Dyer McIntrye. She was a homemaker and a member of the Spurgeon Memorial Methodist Church.
Surviving are her widower Jacob W. Soden of home address; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Cochems, Whittier; and Mrs. Lucille Young, Huntington Beach; five sons, Lyle Soden, Pomona; Cecil J. Soden, Paramount; John Soden, Twin Falls, Idaho; Clyde Soden, Riverside; and Merle Soden, Orange; one brother, John McIntyre, Nebraska; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
