Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Rosemound Cemetery, the Rev. Bill Boyd officiating.
Mr. Cockrell worked at Rainbow Bakery until he retired. he was a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church and the Men's Fellowship Bible class.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Cockrell; a stepdaughter, Jocelyn Lassetter of Waco; a brother, Harold Cockrell of Waco; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The family will be at 2333 Hanover Drive.
Connally-Compton West Waco Drive Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
