IRON RIVER-Hazel L. Crandall, 93, died Dec. 1 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Brooks-Langenberg Funeral Home of Iron River.

IRON RIVER-Hazel L. Crandall, 93, died Dec. 1 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 12, 1898 in Florence, Wis., the daughter of the late George and Josephine Plouff. She moved to Iron River where she grew up and attended school. On October 7, 1913 she married Lewis Crandall in Menominee and the couple made their home in Iron River. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1968. In 1976 she moved to Florida and for the past four years has been a resident at the Freeman Convalescent Home in Iron Mountain. She was preceded in death by a son Chester in 1944; a sister Laura Dooley; and by three brothers, Elmer, Herbert and Chester.
She is survived by two sons, Emory Crandall of Beechwood and Raymond Crandall of Bark River; one daughter June Erickson of Howey-in-the-Hills, Fl.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
There was no visitation.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at Resthaven Cemetery in Iron River. Brooks-Langenberg Funeral Home of Iron River is in charge of the arrangements.
