DAVID SECRIST - Independence. David Secrist, an old and greatly respected citizen, died about 9 o'clock Friday night, after a severe and protected spell of sickness.
The funeral took place from his late residence at half past one o'clock Sunday afternoon and the remains were interred in the Four Corners Cemetery. Rev. J.W. Walkey conducted the funeral services. A very large concourse of relatives and friends paid the deceased their last sad rites on earth. May he rest in peace.
