CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. - Douglas F. "Doug" Sickler, 39, of Citrus Heights, Calif., and a former resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died Monday, Aug. 14, 1995, at his home, following a sudden illness.

He was born Sept. 10, 1955, to Edwin J. and Gladys P. (Peterson) Sickler, at San Fernando, Calif. He was raised and attended school at Canoga Park, Calif., and graduated from Canoga Park High School in 1974. He then studied engineering and refrigeration and heating at Northridge City College.

Mr. Sickler lived in the Wenatchee Valley in 1983.

He worked for various companies in the Canoga Park area in the heating and air conditioning field. He later moved to the Sacramento area and settled in Citrus Heights, where he was the heating and air conditioning maintenance mechanic for a large apartment complex, The Willows, for the last eight years.

Survivors include his father, of East Wenatchee; his twin brother, Dean E. of Chatham, N.J.; and two sisters, Sharron Prosser of Anacortes and Linda Thorp of Honolulu, Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1983, and his stepmother, Kacy, in 1990.
