Thomas Zackmire, 89, farmer near Wallace, died at 12:40 am Sunday at his home of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Spencer Funeral Home, Kingman, where the body will remain. Burial will be in Zackmire Cemetery.
Mr. Zackmire was born Jan. 20, 1859 at Wallace, son of Simon and Sophia Wendell Zackmire. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Susie Bowers Zackmire, Wallace: two sons, Ronnie, Wallace and Ransom, Yeddo; and two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Shoaf, Attica, and Mrs. Mary Allen, West Lebanon. There are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Myrta McGinnis 18 years ago.
