Hazel M. McCauslin

Hazel M. McCauslin, 98, of 595 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, formerly of Bendersville, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, in Green Acres Nursing Home.

Born Dec. 10, 1901 in Tyrone Township, Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Harry L. and Hattie T. Moose Fair. Her husband, Ralph B. McCauslin, died in 1958.

Mrs. McCauslin had been a seasonal employee of the former C.H. Musselman Co., Biglerville; Knouse Foods Co-op Inc., Peach Glen; and Mountain Orchards Co-op, Aspers, for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Bendersville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by daughter Dorothy A. Croft of Bendersville; son Harold F. McCauslin of Neptune Beach, Fla.; sister Edith Shirel of Kansas City, Mo.; brother Glenn Fair of Hershey; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Jeffrey K. Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
