MRS. DORIS E. ADAMS

WOODRUFF, March 29 - Mrs. Doris E. Adams, 77, wife of B.C. Adams, died at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville at 8:30 a.m. today following an illness of two weeks.

She was a daughter of the late James and Nancy Huff and a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, one son, C.E. Huff, six step-daughters, Mrs. C.E. Huff, Woodruff, Mrs. J.B. Mardis and Mrs. Josie Proctor, both of Greenville, Mrs. Viola Henderson, Union, Mrs. Jesse Strickland, Athens, Ga., and Mrs. Clara Chaney, Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Farley Jones, Greenville; three brothers, Hayes and A.P. Huff, Kingston, Tenn. and C.M. Huff, Chattanooga, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church by the Rev. J.L. McCluney and the Rev. R.R. Gowan. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the Church at 12 noon Tuesday to await the hour of service.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

After 10 a.m. Monday the body will be at the home of C.E. Huff, 25 Woodruff St.. Lamar Lanford Funeral Home is in charge.
