Mary was the only child of David & Frances (Rigsby) Wilson. At this time, I do not know when or where her mother passed away. What I was told was that her mother was born in 1853 and died about 1891 in Dooly County, Georgia; I do not know if Rigsby was her maiden name or her half-brother's birth surname. She had one half-brother by her mother: Taylor Jackson Wilson either adopted his step-father's surname or was adopted by David Wilson. Mary married William Washington Harper on 13 May 1898 in Dooly County (possibly Vienna), Georgia. They had 14 children together, nine of whom survived to adulthood. Mary was widowed in 1940 and continued on to be surrounded by many of her chidren and grandchildren. She passed away in 1960, having lived in central Georgia all her life. LFC, 24 Jan 2013.
