Gracie was one of two daughters of Henry L. and Maud E. Frost Andrews; the family lived at 3604 Little California St. in Eureka. Gracie’s mother, Maud, was a schoolteacher In Cutten for many years; her father, Henry, worked for Holmes-Eureka Lumber Co. Gracie and her sister, Ruthe, attended Eureka schools.

Gracie was married to Jim Landergen, who survives her as does her daughter Judy Martin, and two grandchildren, Melanie and Charlie Martin.

Gracie was the office manager at Simonsen Labs in Gilroy for twenty years. She and Jim enjoyed traveling in their motor home and following the rodeo competitions of their grandchildren -- successful competitions that often involved the quarter horses that Gracie and Jim raised.

Gracie, whom friends recall as a happy, fun-loving woman, was a member of the Women in Touch club of Gilroy, and the Humboldt County Historical Society.

Gracie was predeceased by her sister, Ruthe (Mrs. Sid Davis), of Redding.
