Celia is the daughter of Parker & Oliva Taylor; both natives of Vermont. Prior to marriage, Celia was a school teacher. On 12 Oct 1876 she married the widower Robert Montgomery, Jr, son of Robert and Annis (Sproule) Montgomery - a gentleman 32 years her senior. After Robert's passing on 05 Nov 1883, Celia secured employment as a housekeeper. On 16 Aug 1901 she married widower Reuben Nelson, son of Benjamin and Lydia (Morgan) Nelson. Mr Nelson was born on Apr 1826 in NY and passed away in 14 Aug 1914 in Eaton Co. At the age of 72, Celia married for a 3rd time on 25 Nov 1915 to Francs M Childs, son of Nahum M and Marianne (Thomas) Childs.
