Herbert Tims, 84, a retired farmer of Johnsonburg R.D., died this morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Buckenmyer of Mountain Lakes. He had been ill a long time. Mr. Tims was born in Johnsonburg, but spent most of his life in the Oxford vicinity. His wife, the former Martha Heller, died in 1942.
He also is survived by a son, Lewis Tims of Johnsonburg; another daughter, Mrs. Mabel Smith of Belvidere; two brothers, John Tims of Belvidere and Clarence Tims of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Elmira Hart of Hackettstown; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
