Mrs. T. A. (Vera Miller) Gauer, age 76, of Bellmead, died Sunday morning June 16, 1996 at her residence.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. June 19 at Olive Branch Cemetery near Leroy with the Rev. W. Gardiner Ellis officiating.

Mrs. Gauer was born December 18, 1919, near Axtell and lived in Bellmead for the past 40 years. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She was also a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gauer, the former Vera Miller, married T. A. Gauer July 10, 1942 at Waco.

Survivors include husband, T. A. Gauer of Bellmead; two daughters, Linda Youngblood of Robinson and Maudene Mashburn of Bellmead; one brother Albert Miller of Leroy; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Honorary pallbearers were: Robert Lee Leathers, John Miller, James Miller, Benny Gauer, Curtis Sigler, Gary Sigler, Eddie Gauer and Harrold Sigler, Jr.

Kotch Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of Louis (Allois) Miller and Susie Bill Englut Miller. She married Theodore Andrew Gauer on 10 Jul 1942. They had two children: Linda Darleene Gauer and Maudene Carol Gauer.
