Marilyn A. Henry, 74 years of age, of Beatrice, NE. formerly, of Daykin, NE. passed away at the Beatrice Manor Care Center in Beatrice Monday morning, October 15, 2007. She was born on November 20, 1932 in Beatrice, NE. and was a graduate of Holmesville High School, Holmesville, NE. She married Wayne E. Henry on September 18, 1955 in Beatrice. They lived near Daykin, NE. until she moved into Beatrice after his death in 2002. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Daykin, NE.
Survivors include her daughter Marlys Koch and husband Arlin of Wymore, NE.; grandchildren Timothy Koch of Daykin, NE., Troy Koch of Beatrice, and Teri Ann Koch of Wymore; brother in law Donald Kilday and wife Judy of Fullerton, NE.; nieces Beth Kilday of Palmer, NE., Bonnie Downing and husband Tim of Stapleton, NE. and their children Taylor and Brett, and LuAnn Tafoya and husband Adrian of Las Cruces, NM.; and nephew Jay Kilday and wife Faye of Greely, NE. and their son Deyn. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Gertrude (Baumfalk) Siems; husband Wayne E. Henry (2002); and sister Elaine Kilday (2002).
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with Reverend Paul Sorlien officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 9-9:00 and Thursday until the time of the service at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice.
