He is survived by his wife, Terri Philbrick Brogdon; two sons, Daniel A. Brogdon and Phillip J. Brogdon, of Brunswick; his mother, Martha Brogdon, of Panama City, Florida; one sister, Brenda Adams of Pensacola, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Cheri Jamison (Charlie) and Donna Jean Philbrick Vadenhoy (Lynn), both of Jacksonville, Florida; a niece, Stephanie Potter Mullins of Jacksonville, Florida; a nephew, Jeremy Adams of Pensacola, Florida, a greatniece, Ameris Potter of Jacksonville, Florida, special family friends Bruce and Debbie Herring of Elberton, Georgia and Wes and Janet Lawson of Waynesboro, Georgia; and numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Edwin Brogdon. Dr. Brogdon was a native of Panama City , Florida and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past year. He previously resided in Elberton, Georgia. He was the Minister of Music at Northside Baptist Church of Brunswick and was a member of the Georgia Baptist Sons of Jubal. Dr. Brogdon earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree from The University of West Florida, and was a member of the graduating class of 1977. He earned a Masters of Church Music from the Southeastern Baptist Theology Seminary, Class of 1979, and received his Doctorate of Ministry and Worship from the Northern Theology Seminary in 2004.
