Mrs. Carl Meyer Is Laid to Rest

Burial Service Held at Buckman Tuesday Morning – Was Past 59 Years of Age

Mrs. Carl Meyer, whose death occurred at her home 3 ¼ mile southeast of Buckman at 12:30 o'clock Sunday morning, due to sercbral hemorrhage, was born at Ellgut, Germany, January 3, 1869, being 59 years and 9 months old at the time of death.

Mrs. Meyer's maiden name was Johanna Przybilla and was married to Joseph Marshik at Buckman many years ago. This union was blessed with eight children as follows: Tony and Joseph Marshik at home, Mrs. Frank Pekareck and Mrs. Theresia Otremba of Buckman township, Mrs. Agnes Ziegler of Anoka; Mrs. Anna Mueller and Mrs. Theresia Trutwin of Graham; Mrs. Clara Lewandowski of Gillman; an adopted boy, Victor, is in North Dakota.

About three years following the death of her husband, Mrs. Marhsik was married to Carl Meyer at Buckman and Mr. and Mrs. Meyer have been making their home on the farm at Buckman until this time.

Besides her husband and children she is survived by the following brothers and sisters, John, Frank and Joseph Przybilla of Buckman, Tony of St. Cloud, Mrs. Agnes Schmolke of Ramey, Mrs. Josephine Marshik and Mrs. Lena Pella of Pierz town, Mrs. Kate Przybilla of South St. Paul, and an adopted child, now Mrs. Frances Lamotte of St. Paul.

Burial for the deceased Mrs. Meyer took place in the Buckman cemetery following the burial services in the parish church there at 9:30 o'clock on Tuesday morning.
