Rites Held Saturday For Mrs. Agnes Braun
A solemn requiem mass was held Saturday for Mrs. Agnes Braun, 73, who passed away at St. Gabriel's hospital in Little Falls Wednesday, August 31st. Rev. Paul Kunkel officiated at the mass, assisted by Rev. Frederick Kampsen, Rev. Robert Schulzetenberg. Rev. Robert Voigt was in the Sanctuary.
Mrs. Braun had been a resident of St. Otto's home in Little Falls for the past eight years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.
Pallbearers were six of her sons, John, Celestine, Henry, Leonard, Alois and Rolland. Honorary pallbearers included the mesdames Math Mueller, George Block, Joe Grundhoefer, Mary Mueller, Nick Mueller and Joe Kappes.
Agnes Mueller was born in Buckman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Mueller. She married Pete Braun at that place and had ten children, nine of whom are living. They are John, Henry, Reinhard, Rolland, here; Mrs. Ed Rastetter (Adella) Hibbing; Alois and Leonard, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Franics, Phoneix, Ariz.; Celestine, U.S. Army, Ft. Bliss, Okla. Other survivors are a brother, Nick Mueller, Buckman, 31 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
