Services for Virgle Mai Adcock, 66, of Route 2, Rock Island, were held July 8 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell and Cope Funeral. Burial was in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

Rev. David Watson, Rev. Morris Watson, Rev. Johnny Watson and Rev. Horace Snipes officiated.

Mrs. Adcock died July 6 at McMinnville Health Care Center. Her husband, Wesley H. Adcock, died March 25. She was the daughter of the late Rev. F.L. Watson and Eula Bond Watson.

Surviving are three daughters, Hilda Holt of McMinnville; Mrs. Ralph (Dora Elizabeth) Jeffries of Marion, Ind. And Mrs. Danny (Audrey) Burger of McMinnville; three sons, Phillip Adcock of McMinnville; Larry Adcock of Murfreesboro and Wesley Frank Adcock of Tampa, Fla.; seven brothers, Paul Watson of McMinnville; Rev. Morris Watson and Frank Watson, Jr. of McMinnville, James Watson of Smithville, Rev. David Watson of Fayetteville, Aaron Watson of Hot Springs, Ark., and Rev. Johnny Watson of Paducah, Ky. and 12 grandchildren.

Love-Cantrell and Cope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
