Graveside services will be held today, Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Mt. View Cemetery for Veva Izetta Bell, 3350 Avalon Drive. she died Sept. 25, at Hood River Meorial Hospital at the age of 76. The Rev. Jack Naff will officiate.
She was born Nov. 26, 1905, in Missouri to Mike and Lula May Troxel. she attended schools in Ritchey, Mo., and moved to Boone, Col, in 1928. she has lived in Hood River since 1935 and worked many years with Diamond Fruit, which was then A. G. A.
She was a member of Rebeca Lodge, her husband, Sherman Bell, preceded her in death in 1980. Survivors include: a son, Jerry bell of Hood River; a daughter, Shermadene Williams of Eugene; three brothers, Manford of Missori Manvil of Mosier, and Darrel of Hood River; three sisters, Gladys Cress of California, Helen Davis of Washington and Cletamay Maurer of Hood River; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
