Resident of Broen Memorial Home; Came Here from Joyce, Iowa
Gullick Tweed, who has been a resident of the Broen Memorial Home, died this Saturday morning at the age of ninety years. He was a resident of Joyce, Iowa before coming to the Memorial Home in February.
Mr. Tweed was born Aug. 9, 1867 in Norway. He never married.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Carl Olson of Detroit, Mich, two nieces were here from Iowa to be with him during his last illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct.2 at the Bethel
Lutheran church in Joyce, Iowa,
the Rev. Herman Engebrelson officiating assisted by the Rev. M. E. Sietta of this city who will accompany the remains to Joyce.
Friends wishing to view the remains may call at the Olson Funeral Home in this city until Tuesday evening.

Gullick Tweed Services Set for Wednesday
JOICE—Funeral services for Gullick Tweed, 90, will be con ducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church south of here.
He died Saturday morning at the Broen Memorial Home at Fergus Falls, Minn., where he
had been a patient since Feb. 20. He suffered a stroke about a week ago.
Mr. Tweed was born Aug. 29, 1867, in Treugen, Norway, the son of John and Astrid Tweed. He came with his family to the United States and a farm west of Joice. Later he moved to a farm southwest of Joice where he spent most of his life. He had never married.
His only survivor is a sister Mrs. Carl (Bertina) Olson, Detroit.
The Rev. M. E. Sietta. Fergus Falls Bible School, will be in charge of services, assisted by the Rev. H. E. Engebretson, Joice pastor. Burial will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery with the Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, in charge.
