A brief notice of Eva's death was published in the Winnetka Talks, on August 8, 1968. "Eva Bell Morris - Mrs. Eva Bell Morris, 67, of 553 Hill Ter., Winnetka, died Aug. 1, at Evanston Hospital. Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband, Orlin E., a daughter, Mrs. Mona M. Coolidge of Evanston, two brothers, Sherman Bell, Hood River, Ore., and Russell Bell, Golden, Col; and two grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday at the Church of the Holy Comforter, Kenilworth."

Eva doesn't have a headstone to mark her passing. Her daughter, Mona, said her mother's request to be cremated was honored and her ashes scattered along a trail where she had enjoyed walking.

Mona's father moved to Chickasa, Grady County, Oklahoma, where he married again. He died in Chickasa in October 1980, and his ashes were scattered in one of his favorite places.

More about Eva will be written later.
