Mrs. Ellen Caroline Hatch

Mrs, Ellen Caroline Hatch, widow of Martin Hatch, of Williamsburg
R. D. 1, died at the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon on Monday morning, Dec. 28, 1953, at 8:50 o'clock.

She was born Feb. 14, 1874, at Overton, Pa., and was a daughter
of Henry and Susan (Rhinebolt) Sherman. She was united in marriage
to Martin Hatch on August 6, 1892.

Surviving are the following children:
Mark Hatch of Tyrone R. D. 1;
Albert Hatch of Altoona;
Mrs. Irene Lear and Paul Hatch of Williamsburg R. D. 1
She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Hatch was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church of
Canoe Creek.

Funeral services will be held at the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg on 'Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev: Hayden Walla of Canoe Creek officiating.

Interment will be made in the Sparr cemetery in Clover Creek.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday
evenings from 7 to 9 o'clock.
