Services for Charles E. Daniel, 76, of 1305
W. Broadway, will be at Parker's Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. O. Edwyn
Luttrell of the First Baptist Church
officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery.
Mr. Daniel, who died Monday at Boone County Hospital, was born Feb. 21, 1899, in
St. Charles to Albert Worth Daniel and Bessie Isabell Daniel. He moved to Columbia in 1908 and worked at the University.
He was married in Oskaloosa, Kan., Dec. 24, 1927, to the former Helen Irene Bliss. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ruth
Dalke, 405 Ridgeway Ave.; a son, Charles E. Daniel Jr., North Kingston, R.I.; a brother, Hugh Daniel, Dayton, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Myron Spohrer, Kirkwood, and Marjorie Bauer, Casa Grande, Ariz.; and two granddaughters.
Friends may call at Parker's Chapel after 2 p.m. today.
